Pressed Flower Art for Beginners

Learn to harvest, prepare flowers for pressing and be inspired to create your own personalised art.  The workshop starts with a demonstration, by Wendy, of the art of flower pressing, including how to select and prepare your flowers through the seasons. We will also work with pre-pressed flowers which we have pressed for you. We will guide you through techniques for mounting and framing your pressed flowers, to make cards and other keepsakes.

The day includes: All equipment required for the day, a take home flower press, and various mounting material, refreshments throughout the day, A tasty and nutritional lunch, A Tour by Emma Martin of the cut flower farm, use of a craft apron.
