An Introduction to Using Plants to Hand Dye Wool

Wednesday, 3 May, Join us on our journey with an introduction to ‘hand dyeing wool in the barn’ using local plants, Ruth Schofield and Nicky Roope.
What to expect: This is a workshop for those who are interested in using mainly, locally sourced plants to hand dye wool. You will explore the dyeing process, learn about key dye plants, mordanting, modifying etc and leave with 4 x 20 g skins of different coloured wool.
